Information You Send
A name, phone number, or address entered in a search form is sent to the third-party provider that supplies those results. Folsom Residents Directory does not retain a copy of those searches on its own servers. If you contact us, we receive the message and contact details you choose to include and use them to respond.
Routine Technical Logs
The hosting service records ordinary technical logs such as IP address, browser type, viewed pages, and time stamps. Those records may be reviewed in aggregate to maintain the pages and understand general traffic. Cookies or related tools may support basic analytics or advertising measurement when enabled.
How It Is Used
Technical data helps operate the service, diagnose faults, measure broad traffic, and improve the Folsom reference pages. Visitor lists are not sold, and individual user profiles are not built from these records.
External Links
Pages link to Sacramento County and California records portals, library collections, archives, and sponsored search tools. Once a link is followed, the destination's privacy policy governs the information submitted there. The provider of sponsored results is a separate company.
Who Receives It
Hosting and other service providers may process server logs in order to keep the service running. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic information described above. Disclosure otherwise occurs only when valid legal process requires it.
Security and Retention
The connection is encrypted, and logs are retained only for as long as the purposes stated above require. Since the service has no accounts, it does not hold a site password or personal profile that could be exposed here.
People Under 18
Folsom Residents Directory is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor has sent information, contact us so it can be removed.
Your California Rights
California's Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, appears in Civil Code ยง1798.100 et seq. and may give qualifying consumers rights to know, correct, delete, limit certain sensitive-information use, and opt out of sale or sharing. The California Privacy Protection Agency's Delete Request and Opt-out Platform also provides a route for requests involving registered data brokers. Because this service keeps little information, a request usually involves checking the contact mailbox and applicable logs. Use the Contact page to ask. Public records held by California, Sacramento County, or Folsom offices are controlled by their custodians, not by this directory; removal requests for those records belong with the office that holds them.
